SOLUBILITY: ( Oil and Alchocol ).However, the powder's solubility in standard carrier oils is quite low.usually only around 2 g per 100 g of oil. If you mix more than this, the acid will not dissolve. It will just sink to the bottom as gritty pieces
To dissolve salicylic acid powder completely, it is much better to use a glycol solvent like Propylene Glycol or propanediol
Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid that occurs as a natural compound in plants. It has direct activity as an anti-inflammatory agent and acts as a topical antibacterial agent due to its ability to promote exfoliation. It acts as a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that dissolves oil to deeply exfoliate the Skin
